Costs incurred for the procurement of evidence may, according to Austrian Supreme Court rulings, be claimed from the responsible party and enforced through civil proceedings, provided they remain within a justified scope.

Preventive expenses, however, cannot be claimed in court due to the lack of causal connection.

Fees: Billing is calculated in 30-minute intervals. Hourly rates excluding 20% VAT and expenses depend on the scope of the assignment, the nature of the operation, the risk classification and the type of activity involved.
